This workshop is part of the takween training-of-trainers program, launched by platform and the Goethe-Institute.
If you are a designer interested in developing your career as a trainer or creative mentor, or if you are already a manager, trainer, mentor, or leading professional in creative industries, apply now for a three-day workshop on creative mentorship, facilitation and experiential journeys.
The workshop will run from the 21st to the 23rd of February, and offers participants a chance to work closely with the instructors Samar Dudin, Thana’a Khasawneh and Reem Abu Kishk, who will share their experiences, methods, and tools in designing and delivering effective and interactive trainings.
Participants of the workshop are required to attend all three days:
- 21st Feb: Creative Mentorship - Samar Dudin
- 22nd Feb: Methods of Facilitation and Evaluation - Thana’a Khasawneh
- 23rd Feb: Experiential Journeys - Reem Abu Kishk
Targeted specifically at creative industries, the workshop introduces experiential learning processes, how to enhance empathic listening, self reflection, as well as practical skills in facilitation and how to spark the journey of growth in young designers. This process will be coupled with conversational sessions, to give valuable insights on how to support designers through all stages of the creative process.
